Karma Yoga
“Just do your Karma ardently
Leaving part of your mind on God
Like a lady enjoying swimming
Keeping her hairdo unharmed”
Said Sri Ramakrishna, modern prophet
To all his devoted followers
“This is how my dear, to do karma
Leaving part of your mind on God”
Since Karma must we always do
According to innate nature
Let us fulfill our innate Dharma
In this holy affection to God
Doing all Karma in detached mode
While always feeling God within
Our mind must stay amply detached
While willing the Almighty in
So wrong emotions be pushed aside
Farther and further away
This is truly the wisest way
We could fulfill our duties on earth
While reducing pain from wrong desires
That goes in our life too often

As long as we have the Almighty within us there should be no room for wrong emotions or feelings, His presence precludes having them, I believe. We must, as you say, detach our minds from worldly thoughts so our karma will not be diluted by them and inner desires that are wrong for us. The purer our karma becomes the more our pain is reduced by keeping our minds on the Almighty and fulfilling the duties of our purposes here on earth. Really made me think deeply with this one, Tushar! Spent quite a bit of time thinking about what you said before commenting. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
