And what does her chimp boyfriend do?
He gives chimp Kathy, his girlfriend,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
A fresh flower hoping to send
Feelings of adoration that
He has for Kathy as she takes
The bloom and gives a sniff at,
Such a nice scent the flower makes.
Kathy knows that her boyfriend is
Always seeking to impress her.
He is good at romantic biz,
And Kathy is impressed for sure.

Out of the corner of her eye,
Kathy watches her hopeful guy.
