Kerouac Amongst The Nuns Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Kerouac Amongst The Nuns

Rating: 5.0

I was so damn scared
Of those blue-nosed nuns
Professing to be
Holier than thou

I saw Jesus crying
When they were punishing
Gerard full of remorse
Kneeled and prayed to God

I felt his soul's presence
Comforted I stood tall
In the damned majesty
Of these black-clothed sisters

Absolve me Jesus
They had stained my soul
Prayed day and damned night
For Your Forgiveness
