Poets thrown to death
Lions at their throat
The Colosseum
Hears ghosts' whispers
In Christians' killings
As jester devils
Laugh with their master

The imagery is visceral and haunting, the jesters of commerce and lions of ruthless apathy are always at the writers throats. Wish I could write this!
A World of THX to you, Kevin. You always provide very insightful and positive constructive criticism. When an esteemed poet says that he wishes he had written this poem...that is the highest form of flattery. So greatly appreciated for this series!
