Rating: 5.0

Just short of drained
Killer drugs-deranged
So damn scared this night...
Shadow waits for light

This is brilliance! The rhyme gives this verse a nursery rhyme quality. That makes the text even more unsettling, perhaps even terrifying. Such dark places Kerouac did visit, if not inhabit. Brilliant!

The unsettling, and terrifying, places that His Shadow inhabited makes for fascinating reading and mysterious writing! It's no wonder that I'm so immersed in the production of The Kerouac Venture! A world of THX to you for that, my friend! ! !
