rate aur paani ki jhaag k beech
saagar kinaaray main hamesha se
safar karta aa raha hoon.
jahan paaon rait main paDay thay
vo chitr baDi jwaar mitta de gi
aur hawaa jaag ko door le jaaey gi.
lakin sagar aur hawaa yahaN
hamesha k liyay raheN gi.

I AM FOREVER walking upon these shores,
Betwixt the sand and the foam,
The high tide will erase my foot-prints,
And the wind will blow away the foam.
But the sea and the shore will remain
Forever.
