Kissing Summer Time. Poem by Christina Simmons

Kissing Summer Time.

Keep it sweet and sensual
Don't prolong it! Don't delay it!
There's nothing so fine when cupid is around
Laughter we hear there's fun around
Summer time is best
Amusingly involve with appealing
Honeysuckle in the air

Scented smells all around
Delightful colours everywhere
Rose bushes looking scenic
Odours with the fragrance
So captivating to our senses

Lovers holding hand whilst walking in the park
Blink! And be sure to lose it
Grasp it when it comes if you can
Play all you want! Watch out though!

There's no need for an armour
When you want a kiss go for it
Keeping it sweet and sensual
You're in paradise
Be sure the other half is in agreement
Otherwise it loses its flavour

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Falling in love in the summer time, never having to looked back. Compare with past romance. Retaining the moment forever! So very special. Mistakes are made, then there's regrets. Life is for learning, an education.
