Kochi meri jaan
You are on a frying pan
With thick toxic fumes;
Routine water scarcity
And mosquitoes jam my plans
(Tanka Poems. Syllable: 5-7-5-7-7)
Kochi is on the way to becoming the most polluted city in the world. The most contemporary example of apathy of the government machinery… The sarcasm hits hard, but who is listening?
