Krishna Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Krishna

Rating: 5.0

I play the flute of my karma
Sitting upon the branch of my destiny,
Fighting monsters of daily struggles;
I lay in peace on the lap of dreams-
My forever young and charming gopis.

The Govardhan of time gives me shed
Let me forget the old wounds and pains;
The clouds of sorrows recede into
Oblivion giving me spaces to grow and
Flourish and I go on playing my flute
Of love among cud chewing cattle of
My blood and feel the wind of victory.
