Lass From Vancouver Poem by Kim Barney

I was born in a bank - - my mother went there and made a deposit

Lass From Vancouver

There was a young lass from Vancouver,
so heavy that no one could move her,
so they offered a crane,
but she said with disdain
that such a thing didn't behoove her.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Yesterday was Wes Vogler's Birthday. Wes is now 90 years old, but he is locked out of Poem Hunter and can't post any more poems. He has forgotten his password and they will not restore it to him or give him a new one. Wes lives in Canada, and I have been thinking of him and his plight this morning and am posting a couple of limericks in his honor. Wes is the master of limericks and always encouraged me to write more of them.... IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS ANY CLOUT WITH POEM HUNTER AND CAN RESTORE A PASSWORDTO WES?

Poemhunter would not accept my perfectly valid new email awhile back so I was forced to maintain my old one or quit Poemhunter. Now I don't even see a place to change my email. This site has never been right but are getting worse and worse.
