Last Night's Storm Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Last Night's Storm

Rating: 5.0

I was up at two
Since my dog woken me up
To go to the bathroom
I had my headphones on
To listen to my song
But I heard the thunder
It gave me a thrill
I love being scared by it
And the show of lightening
In the shadow against the house
Brings a shiver down my back
And it snaps me back to reality
Knowing it's dangerous to be at
But not thought of my dog
In the rain
As soon as I called him
He hurried in
And the rain continued
