Latakia's Sudden Jungle Fires. Poem by MOHAMMAD SKATI

Latakia's Sudden Jungle Fires.

As winds accelerate badly,
Horrible fires spread
Here and there casing damages
To those pretty forests
Anywhere and everywhere,
Latakia's mountains are burning clearly
While the poor Latakians flee
Through those bad smokes,
Horrible sightings are clearly
Seen from remote places,
Help is wanted to stop
Those scary fires,
The whole world is merely
Deaf, dumb, and blind,
The fleeing residents need
Urgent help as their ordeal
Goes on endlessly,
Spotted fires chase everyone and
Even everything around badly,
Scattered fires are seen reddish
From remote places while
Thousands of Latakians are still
Waiting for immediate help,
All roads are closed
By those scary fires,
It is a horrible ordeal
To see people keep waiting endlessly
For means of transportation
Just to pick them
To safer places immediately,
Please SOS the fleeing residents of
Latakia's suburbs as fires chase them,
Unless our neighboring countries afford
Their urgent and immediate help,
It means there will be more and more
Casualties and even damages
To the people and
To their properties,
I assert immediately,
SOS the Latakian people and
Their properties.

Yes we all need to listen and we all need to become Born Again Environmentalists or we'll all suffer
