Learning From Life Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Learning From Life

Straining to hear what it is I'm supposed to learn from life's
experiences, a soft gentle pounding begins inside.

Thinking quietly about what must be heard, knocking beginning,
drowning tears.

Life is going on without a thought as this mind finds a shelf
to sit upon until the headache clears.
