Learning Meaning's Essence Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sojournly thinking of many things dear to this heart
of mine, taking them one by one into and out of the
caverns of my mind to be written about.

Learning what they are and their meanings, wanting
to find their essence and being, taking them into
the blessedness of life.

Giving them their due, letting them be expressed
quietly and purposely in a poem, letting them come
alive in the minds of others.

Allowing tenderness to relieve their minds also,
while enriching them interiorly and spiritually
throughout this earthly life.
