Leashless Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Leashless

Leashless

They stopped
Still far from yard
Bent the man removed leash
Of the dog and it turned to mustang
Straight, muscular, set to run very long
Right shouldered and head up in eyes shine
As to jump, sprint as free, not hunting greyhound.

A tablet with writing on each move, every hair
Retaining the feeling of no leash; in open
Freedom; once again being dog.
