Leech Empires Despot Rulers: To Global Corporate World Rule Poem by Terence George Craddock

Leech Empires Despot Rulers: To Global Corporate World Rule

leech empires are built
upon history scorched
face invaded countries
continents peoples enslaved
freedom resources plundered

despot rulers sit upon glory throne embodiment
a world crippled legacy their destructive waste...
wars seizing lusted for territories time exhuming last
pound of flesh last drop of blood from victim conquered...
masses leaving soulless embalmed husks to fall as roadside dust!

privatized prime television news reels time out
do not air latest cruelties in foreign factories
work residue third world discarded humanity
succumbs prey to policy corporate campaigns
new exploitative wage slave maximum profit

management metaphorical lacerated
bleeding backs testify to systematized
bean counter cruel extraction techniques
global worship illicit accumulated profits

proceeds of elite sickness greed selfishness
expand into spiderweb global corporate webs
technology enables greatest rich elite families
to rise realize power to milk rule an entire earth
