疏籬淡菊黃昏醉
幽徑濃霜紫竹愁
鼓瑟煽情君詠夏
品簫埋怨雁悲秋


Leisurely Moods In Summer And Autumn

On the sparse fences
the faint chrysanthemums
the dusk was drunk
On the secluded trail
the thick frost
the purple bamboos was disconsolate

Playing lute
arousing your enthusiasm
you chanted summer
Playing flute with resentment
a wild goose lamented autumn
