Some teach and others learn,
some lead and others follow,
but everyone needs a star to follow
when darkness threatens to engulf them.
Everyone needs a star to guide them
when they have lost their way.
Let me be that star for you
and guide you from any coming storm.
I’ll take you to a tranquil place
away from any harm.
Let me be your love’s champion
here within my open arms.
Let me be, let me be
your one and only one.
