Let Me Poem by David Harris

Let Me

Rating: 5.0

Let me stay a little while
Or until the morning dawn
And all the shadows are gone

Let me feel the warmth
Of your body close to mine
Lay your head on my shoulder

Let me lay here with you
And let love take its course
Let our bodies feel as one

Let me stay the night
We’ll share love’s delight
Sheltered by its passion

Let me comfort and caress you
All through the lonely night
And protect you my precious love

Let me

I hope whoever she is David she gets to see this, a warm expressive poem with such simplicity. Well done, best wishes.Lisa

A man who knows that 'mere' presence itself is an expression of love... so many don't. A fine piece D. t x
