Let Me Tell You - Poem by Sahra Hussein

Let me tell you something you’ve never known
Because I want you to know now
I never felt the way I am feeling now
And free my soul from past mistakes
Silly memories I share with you
The promise I have kept in my heart
Maybe I guess they weren’t right to keep
But anyway kept for so long

I knew your lies from the beginning
But I kept on believing in you
I guess you didn’t deserve my trust
But I don’t care any more

I never thought I would be like this
But I don’t care any more
Because It doesn’t matter any more
What I thought about you in the past

Let me tell you something you’ve never known
Because I want you to know now and
It is time you should know because
I can’t hold it back any more
How much I hate you inside
But show you my smile because
I was waiting this day
To say every thing I want to say

I never thought I would be like this
But I don’t care any more because
It doesn’t matter any more
What I thought about you in the past

I know you want to know why I wrote these words
And despite every thing I said about you in the past
I guess it was the worst thing I’ve ever done

A well written poem, but don't let hate destroy you. It eats away at you. Forget about this person and move on with your life. (Report) Reply

it's kind of breaking walls inside
    and believe in self again
against a long hold in doubt and fear
safely swim of soul to the shore of honest
it is power of now and fore
to conquer the custom of false hope
    thanks to you, Sahra
    out of freeze in
    status quo
in return of hope you gave us
rays of light penetrate through walls of doubt
    to believe in a change

You have a talent for writing. Share the experiences of yours which are unusual, amazing, or of great interest
to another (who hasn't had such an experience) - perhaps- as some you have had. Good luck Sahra! Enjoy writing,
    it's a lifetime passion. :)

Hatred is clearly signified in your write - yes to hate someone may be the worst thing one would ever feel to do. (Report) Reply
