Let's lay our tired bodies down
in the cool grass
upon the far hill,
let's hold each other's hearts
within our own,
finding peace and contentment.
Let's look for
that rainbow,
the one all our own.
Let's slow the pace together
finding our way,
no longer fighting against the world
all alone.
Let's laugh with love, and
gaze across the big beautiful sky
that encompasses us,
and offers a shiny new rainbow
stretching from your heart to mine.
Let's simply accept
that love has accepted us
as we are.
Let's lay our jubilant bodies down
in this cool grass,
covered with love
like the morning dew.
This is beautiful Smoky. So sweet it sounds like a beautiful song that Keith Urban could ignite.

I would like to translate this poem
Hey, Smoky! Indeed, let’s. When we can experience firsthand the grass, the sky, love, why let the distant so-called news with its urgencies (and trying to sell us more stuff with the advertising that goes with it) , why let it trouble us for long with the immediacy of creation before us? And how wondeful indeed to discover that love accepts us as we are! That is for me the opening to, the understanding of, grace. Be well, brother. -Glen
