Let Them Eat Cake! ...Marie Antoinette
Let them eat cake! ...
So that notorious saying goes.
Of then princess Marie Antoinette,
And of how little that she knows.
Last queen of France before Revolution,
With endless riches at her feet.
While famine engulfed her people,
Countless corpses in the street.
But destiny caught up with her,
Dealing a cruel fate for a queen.
Found guilty of three charges,
Lost her head to the guillotine.
