Let Us Build A Lighthouse Poem by David Tremain

Let Us Build A Lighthouse

Rating: 5.0

Let us build a lighthouse with our bodies
And in the raging storm and lonesome night,
Love shall be the rock that we will cling to
I your faithful tower, you my light.

And through the doubtful fog and fiery tempest,
I will raise you up so you may shine
And all the oceans of the world might rise in spite against us-
Let them rage as long as you are mine!
