Cancel your wedding,
The virus is spreading,
A new lockdown is now on its way,
If the rules you're shredding,
There'll be a beheading,
This could well happen today.

No, it wasn't debated,
Boris has dictated,
The increase is all down to us,
As we're being slated,
The Dominic we've hated,
Is asking, what's all the fuss.

Though dangers lurk,
Get back to work,
It will give you immeasurable enjoyment,
Ignore the murk,
Don't be a jerk,
Or you will face mass unemployment.

Get out to the pubs,
Dance in the clubs,
Eat out and help those in need,
Avoid any rubs,
Do change your scrubs,
After you've a drink and a feed.

Our test and trace,
Though all over the place,
Is truly the best in the world?
The future we face,
No, it's not a disgrace,
Get those union flags unfurled.

Those above rules,
You followed like mules,
By obeying them all to the letter,
No, we're not tools,
It shows you were fools,
We're saying, you should have known better.

That's enough of that,
Negativity's tat,
Our death rate is not that bad,
If you smell a rat,
Don't ask wee Matt,
How dare you say, he is mad.

We don't really lie,
