What is our purpose in life...
Why did God put us all here?
If there is a God, does He or She even care?
Enough, to see a hungry child cry,
Or when many innocent people die.
Or when a lawyer student has to use her body to live,
Or when a cheating husband wants his wife to forgive...
Him, because he knew he was wrong,
Why does good things always take so long...
To happen, I swear life is about suffering.
Everybody out here is jus trifling.
Should I use a gun or should I use a knife?
Should I pick up a Bible an try to end World Strife?
Do I really need a husband, when inside I crave my own sex?
Who I lie with is my business, I shouldn't have to care who get vex!
How are we to know what is wrong from right?
God if you are up there, please shine some light..
Upon my little poem today,
Shine a bright ray,
please show me the way.
Because I am truly confused,
Information is often misused...
How am I to know who or what to choose...
God created us and gave us all free will, hoping that we would follow His commandments, but alas many people do not, they prefer to selfishly do what they want to leaving morals and ethics behind. Having no interest in giving from the heart and never counting the cost. Our world is a temporary one, all that matters is loving, caring, being compassionate and helping others, not a single other thing will get us to heaven or give us His grace. We human beings think we can do whatever we want and God will forgive us, what if we are mistaken in our misguided thoughts, what then? I feel we must all follow our conscience and not worry about what others are doing, just do what we know is right. Thank you for making me think, love your poem! RoseAnn

We have this thoughts in mind.. and its what we experience.. but what matters most is our belief... how we take things.. God Knows best everything.. thats why he is god... But we fail to understand many things are really feel odd. i agree with RoseAnn as said we must all follow our conscience and not worry about what others are doing, just do what we know is right.... The light is always shining on all of us.. the Question is are we willing to see.... Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem....
