Life And Grave Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Life And Grave

Rating: 5.0

In this and now
Upon a moment when
Still nae eternal; Then
Lay to rest, forever forgotten
Never found beneath the placement, rest

Her breasts are young;
Too young to have offered them
Lost forever to be never touched again
Loved by her only, Also, a child man
He passed with her- Soon after then

As each year passes whom may say
Each flower planted upon her grave
A symbol when love was young
In life was lost to young
She was loved but only touched by one
When her flower she freely gave

Much as the spring gives life anew
Her child given, into a woman, grew
Eyes like love, a lovely blue
Waits the day to find love true

Beneath the ground, there lies still
A mother lost before her life fulfilled
Above, a woman feels a chill;
For a mother she never knew

Love has come then went astray
Life went on and the child aged
Soon, too soon, another grave
Alongside her mother's name

The poem itself is such a good read. But the style you wrote it in is just amazing. I truly love this poem.
