月下操琴山侧耳
泉边洗砚水招魂
人生应有万千事
知己难得三两人


Life Experience

Below the moon I played lute
mountain inclined the ear to listen to
I washed ink stone beside the brook
water called back the spirit of the dead

There should be thousands of things in life
It's rare to have three or two bosom friends
