Life Hanging In The Balance Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Life Hanging In The Balance

Hanging in the balance, life awaits its sunsetical shore,
kind of impatiently at times, knowing a day will come when
this poet will no longer be alive.

Until then mind being wide open, trusting in promises of God,
Himself, hearing the whispers of those who have gone before,
now beyond the black curtains of death.

Musically taking minds delving into a photographic screen in-
teriorly, taking advantage of every thought, idea and feeling
in order to write prose, sending it out to the world.

Iran, Iraq, Germany, Russia, India, Africa, seeing life for
what in reality it is all over this entire globe, thinking of
all the possibilities we could achieve together.

Getting rid of poverty, racism, slavery, pedophilia, rapists,
etc., wanting evil to die and leave people safe and sound like
Adam and Eve were before original sin was committed.

Wonderful piece. It has an element of the surreal. Enjoyed immensely.
