Life's Ballet Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Life's Ballet

Deep within, pain stirs itself again and again,
increasing wounds still left behind of childhood
and life.

It brings me up short, stumbling and falling,
yet in mind, pirouetting like a ballerina, as
I contemplate and write continuously day to day
and minute to minute.
