Life's Fun - Rendering Omar Khayyam Poem by Ravi Kopra

Life's Fun - Rendering Omar Khayyam

Before the sunrise, the drunkard dreams
At the bartender of the tavern he screams -
Wake up, wake up and fill to the full my cup
Before I feel thirsty and life's fun dries up.

***

II.
Dreaming when Dawn's Left Hand was in the Sky
I heard a voice within the Tavern cry,
'Awake, my Little ones, and fill the Cup
Before Life's Liquor in its Cup be dry.'
