Life's Winters Poem by Walterrean Salley

Life's Winters

Rating: 5.0

Tho' winter can be very harsh,
Yet there's something beautiful.
Something different.
Unique wintry features
Not invested in other seasons.

Features that sow to our lives
In a solemn way:
White landscapes,
Snow-covered trees.
Hanging icicles, frosty breath.
Frozen faucets and lakes.
Magical winds.

Come spring, we bloom.
And flourish in the summer.
Such harvest is sweet.
But it is for life's winters
That we are the wiser.
