Life, Who Are You? Poem by Sandra Feldman

Life, Who Are You?

You have fanned
My curiosity,
Who are you,
Life?
I know where
You finally end,
But your purpose,
Life,
Why does it bleed,
Why do we suffer,
Make others pain, too
Why do we keep planting,
The Bad Seed
Of wars and misery,
Not caring,
Where all tragedies
Lead!
It would be so simple
To live in harmony,
Working together
Not fighting, the Sea
The Olive branch
Carried,
In each soul,
That's free,
Tell me Life
I implore you!
Why, cannot,
Peace, Be?
