Life's Arpeggio Poem by D.N. Rebb

Life's Arpeggio

This is the moment in your life's soundtrack
Where the rhythmic arpeggio performs
As flawless as spring's sweet scent of lilac

Prolonged tremolo, now all in the past
The edge of the seat, stable once again
A cruel parody to which we all laughed

With eyes wide open, the future awaits
There are more fresh riffs yet to be written
On empty pages anxious to create

A heartbeat assesses trepidation
Configuring some higher octave range
Prepping this vision like a true mason

A flattened fifth blue note clashes our chords
No one invited a wretched low-down style
Bluffing this life's arpeggio's true score
