every Film Actress on the sets
is aware about a Self-Questionnaire:
Dark red lipstick- yes/no,
Extra make up- yes/no.
Dancing for a rain scene- yes/no.
Cry or laugh- yes/no.
Kiss Lip to lip- yes/no.
Bikini or Nudity- yes/no.
Tolerance/ Intolerance- yes/no.
Romance with co-star/director- yes/no.
An actress ticks the 'yes' in her mind-set
she is ready to go....

Lights, Camera, Action!
she jumps, falls, runs, cries, laughs,
pretends to sing while dancing
she does what she must do and not do
she wants to acquire fame and popularity
she wants to become a Star
she forsakes restrictions
the movie must be a Super-hit
she wants to prove that
she can be better than others.

The Film gets selected for Best Film, Best Actor
she rushes to the Stage to receive her Award
she stands there on the podium grinning
makes a big thank you' speech with tears
of gladness and gratitude
she thanks all her producers, directors,
her co-stars, her family, her friends and fans;
that night she sleeps like an Achiever
her dream has finally come so true, so real.

After years she re-tracks the past
she has some remorse and regret
she emotionally re-enacts her scenes
she cannot forget the man
who harassed her on the Sets,
she remembers him so vividly,
every night a silent, a painful memory
she was abused without her permission
the imposition was so unforgivable
she starts to yell - "me too, me too"
she is like a wounded tigress on the prowl
she wants the world to know she was hurt.

She had yielded to him in silence
she never shouted
she never complained
she never sought justice in time
she had become a famous actress
but now she decides to punish him
she defames him publicly after years
she yells- "Me Too", "Me Too"
she thinks she will gain solace;
she remembers her acting career
but she had forgotten to act in time
against injustice;
she keeps yelling "me to", "me too"
this time she is not acting,
her act is for real.
