Lights Of Victory -(Aurora Borealis) Poem by Bernedita Rosinha Pinto

Lights Of Victory -(Aurora Borealis)

Man lives by the glory of blessings he was born with,
whether it is his color or creed,
whether it his country or religion
that makes up the grid of his identity and origin.

Man by himself is always so full of enthusiasm and dynamism
man without woman can manage his individuality and decisions
whether he is invited to pick up a needle in a haystack
or whether he is invited to find a coin in the ocean beneath.

As a youth, man makes many mistakes,
out of these errors he learns of the displeasure it creates,
out of happiness he learns to cling to options that are enhancing
out of courtesy he chooses to conceal what is unforgettable.

Man by his own capacity steers the wheels of his hardships,
man by himself braves all tussles that stand in his way
for man is the conqueror, the adventurer,
the moderator of his own dreams and realities.

Man always wants to be a hero, whether he is handsome or sick,
whether he is poor or rich, whether he is vulnerable or proud,
whether he is full of laughter and love
or whether he is full of vengeance and hate.

Man always acquires his route of democracy to claim his freedom
whether others accept it or not,
whether others have to agree or leave,
man never gives up his ego, his efforts and goals.

Man chooses to keep his rigidity in dignity,
even in his options he selects endeavours
permissible to his conscience, reasonable to his harmony
so that his achievements are illuminated by lights of victory.
