Like A River It Flows Poem by Gerald Opio

Like A River It Flows

Rating: 5.0

Life has a continuous nature
It does not wait for anyone
Neither does it solace
Nor commiserate anyone

Life flows like a river
It also has tributaries
Tributaries being the people we meet
Temporal the convention ought to be
As we all tread different paths to our goals

A river meanders whenever it meets a rock
hence does life; obstacles do not halt it
but solutions are sought; to maneuver through
Life's challenges, trials and adversaries
just as a river does as it seeks for a sea
to pour it's enormous waters.
