Like Her Poem by Charles M Moore

Like Her

Rating: 4.5

I felt her presence
like blood in my veins
her image coursed through me
resisting restraint
she didn't speak
but her voice held the air
will there ever be anyone else
like her

I looked in her eyes
she scratched at my soul
she didn't touch
but I felt her evolve
she floats through my mind
pearls dropping like prayers
will there ever be anyone else
like her.

'pearls dropping like prayers'.............beautiful sentiment. A connection this strong will always be part of you. Hope keeps us alive, but it is often bittersweet. Sad but lovely. Linda

Not if you feel this deep for her. Sorry.. but facts are facts, when you love with this depth there will never be another. Some will wipe away the pain but then its back to a memory that haunts us. A deep from the heart write.Well done. Patricia
