'Like You' Poem by Essambeh Ebai Essambeh

'Like You'

This is not in comparison, but I wish all the girls I know were just like you.
Down to earth, always dressed in smiles coloured with the best variant of blue.
'Selfless, if it were possible, would have been a perfect addition to your name,
Perfection might not be the best word, but you always somehow magically make my day.
Not birthed in kisses but just the care you always lovingly show,
In what way can I describe selflessness again after everything you've already shown?
There are times I listen to the souls who preach love, and I wonder if only they were like you.
This is not a comparison, but I wish all the girls I once knew were just like you.
