'Good Bye To Love' Poem by Essambeh Ebai Essambeh

I would have written those words clearly when I spoke to your heart,
I would have colored them with beautiful letters only our heart beats understand.
I would have done more than just say the words 'I love you',
I can't tell if I need to turn back the hands of time to make you understand how much I still, really love you.
Except there's no need turning back cos I still live in those same old memories,
How can I say good bye to L.O.V.E when you're still beside me.
Except you're not and all that's left are shadows of what I would have loved to have,
I lost another beloved again, but this time who can I really ask?
I would have made a call to the heavens but seemingly the case had already been decided,
I would have blamed the guy you said is the best, but neither does he know if he is actually the best.
I would have beckoned to Joseph 'dollar' Benjamin but neither him was part of the plot,
Who else should I blame or is this how you finally say good bye to love?
