She was broken from the moment that he left her
She had watched as every piece of him left home
And nursing him through months of pain she listened
As his final breath meant she was now alone

Rejecting heart felt sympathy from others
She chose to stop and lose the will to live
Avoiding everyone and those who loved her
She felt that she had nothing else to give

And now alone she seeks out isolation
Denying friendship, fading every day
Until one day her world will fall around her
By then she will have driven all away.
