Your actions are screaming you deserve better.
I don't know what you're about, because I'm the best you'll ever have.
It's not me doing the brag, or the talk of my pride, just a state of fact.
You want me to change, but got no destination in mind.
Clearly one of us is messed up and the other is messing themself up.
The crazy ones really make the best romance huh?
I mean, just look at us, intoxicating each other with the parts we will never change.
I'll surely miss being a fool for you in the name of love...

Those nights I fell asleep to the thought of you and I saying our vows,
The exotic ever so romantic pieces I wrote since you were my greatest muse whenever life leaned towards the blues.
The dramas we'd start because our minds couldn't stand our hearts' boredom,
Those times you told me you loved me, like it was some desperately awaited mention.
But at least I can have my mind back. Let's not even talk about my heart!

It's time for a new muse, for a life without you meddling like some fuse.
A mind that can escape to a world that doesn't involve you for a fantasy.
A heart that beats without your false hopes, or the pretentious smile in effort to cope.
It will take time, but even time gives up when it's time.
I deserve everything I know I do, because my intentions maintain the lane that is good.
So I'm done making lemonade, for my favorite fruit has never been lime.
