Limerick For Desperate Denial Poem by Danny Draper

Limerick For Desperate Denial

Rating: 5.0

A gradually warming atmosphere
Raised denial, consternation and fear
While some thought it didn’t exist
Science proved contrary to this,
So conservatives threw doubt in the mix
Arguing desperately for nothing to fix.

The sickened atmosphere, diesel destroying lungs of rain forests, as icebergs plunge into warmer than usual death...who I listening? ? Who'll come to the rescue? Are their minds as arid as the desert.....what will it actually take to take a step in the right direction....You push me to question further...thanks Danny :)

Desperate we will be and already are. Very sad for so many of our public who want to support and try and reduce this issue

conservatives-because-they-don't-like-radical-change would be more likely to listen to scientists than the type you're talking about, Danny. They are very greedy or cantankerous.
