Linger Longer Poem by Paul Warren

Linger Longer

Rating: 3.0

Do you want to see those days back again
See those missing friends
Is there someone you'd want to hug a little longer
Love a little stronger

To see them when you want to
Kiss them again too
Say all those things you left unsaid
Words waiting not to dread

As daylight shadows grow longer
In this yesterday I linger
Laughter on your lips completer
In a time forever sweeter.

Nicely inked. Yes could go back to time and meet the friend who departed us. Thanks.
