Lioness All Ears - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Lioness All Ears - Lincoln Park Zoo

This lioness does love to hear
The music from a violin.
So when some young humans played near,
I took each and ev'ry note in.
These youth did play so very well.
Making music is such a gift,
Grateful upon my ears it fell,
Giving me such a feel good lift.
From time to time musicians do
Come and give a concert for free
Here on grounds at Lincoln Park Zoo.
The sound of music pleases me.

Of course I wanted an encore.
I made this want known with a roar.
