Listen To God Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

The love of God
presupposes that
I have heard of God,
of his love and his
ever new devotion
to the mankind.

Loving God starts
with listening to God!

The Bible never tires
of reporting about
people who have
listened to God,
of course also
about those who have
not listened to God.

When I think of people
who have listened to God,
I think of Noah,
Abraham, Moses, Joshua,
the prophetess Deborah,
Isaiah, Jeremiah, Job,
Mary and Joseph.

Listening to God
takes place in all peace
and rest, most often
in the depth of the night.

It is true, God speaks to
the one who loves God
deeply and very sincerely.
Listen to God.

Be happy and smile always.
When you smile for no reason
You are deeply in prayer.
