Little Night Garden (Children) Poem by Jean Dament

Little Night Garden (Children)

Rating: 5.0

Deep in the woods lies a little night garden beyond compare;
And if per chance you happen to tarry there,
You'll find some whimsical beings, who magically fill up the atmosphere with light,
Radiating so bewitchingly...offering you such delight & insight,
Fireflies, sprites, imps, fairies & lephrachons light up the very dark with their sweet charms,
Once you have encountered them you'll want to hold them in your very arms,
Each one works so diligently & skillfully; as they mystically allure you to come & seek more;
Where the winding path has lead you to this enchanting & charming place;
As they offer you such happiness & a special kind of grace,
But these little beings are not from this world; & before you know it they'll leave without a trace,
You may have thought these creatures were real & you were true in believing,
But surely you've been fooled......& possibly been dreaming.
