Little Sparrow's Egg Poem by The Little Wise Doll

What would happen if I didn't feel anything
If i didn't feel the pain
The happiness or sadness
That came from lose or gain
Would I still be human
Or even still exist
Would my memories be fatal
And kill me in its midist
But if I lived without emotion
Then I wouldn't feel the pain
That I seem to be follwed by
Every single day
But maybe it isn't all so bad
Because of life's little gifts
So I guess I'd like to feel
At least just a little more
Just while this little sparrow's egg
Rests quietly in my hands forever more
