Little Voice In My Head Poem by Susy Evelyne

Little Voice In My Head

Rating: 5.0

Little voice in my head - why didn't you shout?
Why didn't you yell and get it right out?
Why didn't you warn me the signal was red?
Yes how come you let me go steaming ahead...
to wander right into the jaws of my fate?

(Oh yes, now I can hear you, now it's too late!)

But little voice in my head, next time I will know.
Next time I will listen, when you whisper 'no'.

I have a particular interest in the subconscious mind. Thank you for this lovely poem Susy. You write so well about things that really matter.

the inner voice, our conscience, sadly we aren't always guided by it. If only... an insightful poem indeed.

Beautiful poem, we all have this instinct, this intuition that something may not turn right if we do a specific thing. We just have to discern and listen harder to our inner voice. A very lovely poem indeed Ma'm Susy.

It depends on what it is telling you Susy. I like the poem though, it has a good, well written feel to it.
