I choose to live my life
To fashion it as I will
I choose to work and strive
To live full as God wills

I choose to live life's destination
To have a reason to live and die
To enjoy the fruit of my creation
Not be despondent or even cry

I choose my dream's challenges
Not be dictated by others
I choose to give life to others
Not to be used by others

I choose to live positive thoughts
To live each day doing my best
I embrace life with all its warts
Be confident God would do the rest

Say someday: 'These I've done! '
Proud I had run a good run
Fought a good fight and won
Say: This is what makes a man!
