Living Our Lives Poem by Sandra Feldman

Living Our Lives

Rating: 4.0

It's a long life, and a short one,
Years like tears flow, unwillingly,
Time marches on and kills,
And We? Dream our immortality,
But waste our lives fighting,
Over trivialities and stupidities.

Our lives are but tiny rivulets,
That never really reach the Sea.

WOW' - Sandra, I loved this bold and frank opinion what you penned in those few lines. Yesd, I agree that though being mortal, we mostly like to remain in an eutopic world which is almost not practicable! ! Thank you

Sandra, you encapsulate so much in your fine poetic brevity...So true, every word...Another pen-gem, indeed from your quill of gold ~FjR
